The Drip

The Drip is a product of inspiration from two different places. The first is the audio from the show Bojack Horseman when Bojack is forced to confront his own mortality in a near-death experience. He wonders what is next for him and only given the cold yet reassuring answer that “everything comes to an end, the drip finally stops.” The other source of inspiration is an animation short called The Egg by Kurzgesagt that explains the Buddhist ideals that everyone in the universe is born from one place and returns to that place after they die. In a sense, we are all connected. These thoughts about life and death, the after-life, inspired this short animation where an old man is visited by a being of light to comfort him on his journey to the afterlife.
