Unofficial Music Video (Premiere)

This is a music video I made for one of my favorite songs Sound & Color by The Alabama Shakes. For this video, I wanted to focus on the beauty of the ordinary things I pass by everyday. During college, I noticed that I was always taking the exact same route to classes and didn’t often take time to explore other parts of campus. I made it my mission to start wondering around the places I don’t normally visit and record anything of interest. It made me see my school through a whole new perspective and brought back that feeling of excitement when I was a freshman, getting familiar with everything all over again. To get that idea across in the video, I started every shot off in grey scale and slowly brought back a little more color with each passing shot until finally all the color comes back in at once.
