Unofficial Music Video: Premiere & iPhone

Sound & Color is a music video I created for one of my favorite songs by The Alabama Shakes. The project explores the beauty of the everyday, finding wonder in the ordinary scenes we often overlook. During college, I realized I was walking the same routes to class every day without really noticing my surroundings. I began venturing into parts of campus I’d never explored, capturing the small details that made each space unique. Through this process, I rediscovered my school with the same sense of curiosity and excitement I had as a freshman. To convey that feeling visually, I began the video in grayscale, gradually reintroducing color with each passing shot until the final scene bursts into full vibrancy, symbolizing a renewed appreciation for the world around me.
