Knock Knock

Rotoscope: ProCreate & Premiere

Knock Knock is a rotoscope animation using Mac Miller’s Knock Knock music video as the source. As this was my first rotoscoping project, my goal was to capture the energy and movement of the original performance. I chose to omit Mac’s facial features, keeping his eyebrows as the most expressive feature, and instead emphasizing his energetic body language: the swing of his arms, the rhythm of his gestures, and the way he moves toward and away from the camera.
